Anthany from Korgath is heralded on the Armory as “the Flawless Victor,” someone who has completed the achievement Hot Hot Hot Streak, winning at least 10 rated matches at a rating greater than 2000 (at level 80). So, you can assume just from that information that Anthany might be pretty good.

His teams also fit some criteria for being skilled, also. His 2v2 and 5v5 team are both ranked 5th on the Vengeance battlegroup, and his 3v3 team is number 1 right now.

Anthany of Korgath was kind enough to take the time to talk to the Colosseum about his current experience in the Arena, and what he worries might be coming down the pipe for his beloved playstyle.

I would suggest this toy for any hardcore fans of World of Warcraft. I love these fleshed out action figures they’ve come out with. The detail is amazing, I would have to give it a 9/10 score. A well made piece for your collection and something I always enjoy looking at.

Customer Review: Valeera - my favorite of this series
Valeera is so cool - in fact, she’s my favorite of this series of WoW action figures. (I have all of them, because I’m a big WoW-geek.) She’s got a lot of great detailing on her outfit, like the “jewel” insets and ripples in her cloak. She even has a few thin bloodied cuts on her legs, as if she’s in the middle of a big fight (which she is, if you refer to the artwork on which this pose is based). I gave her 4 out of 5 stars for durability, because she was unbalanced enough that she fell off my bookcase and one of the clear plastic discs on her feet cracked off, but she’s as good as new with a dab of Krazy Glue.

I’m not sure why the previous reviewer thought she was poor-quality - although she’s not the Most Amazing action figure I’ve ever seen, she still looks great and has much more energy and motion in her pose/hair/clothing than many other female action figures I own.

She’s described as an “action figure”, but she’s not very articulated. Personally, I have no problem with this because I’m not playing with her - I’m displaying her. I suppose a young child could find her lack of movement irritating, but I’m going to take a wild guess that 99.9% of the Valeera action figures are being purchased by adult WoW fans, not for little kids.

Overall, Valeera rocks. I just wish Blizzard would make more cool female action figures!

Customer Review: Awesome Minis, but don’t forget the game!
I picked up the Minis both to check out the figures themselves and to play the game. I’m not a competitive gamer by any stretch, but my brother and I absolutely loved the game! I don’t have too much experience playing other Minis games, but it’s similar to a strategic RPG video game and pretty easy to pick up and play. The figures are very high quality, and I was very impressed with the paints. I’m not sure if other people are familiar with pre-painted Mini figures, but it’s very difficult to get high quality and detail out of something that is literally miniature but still mass produced on a large scale. There are a ton of detail in all of the figures for their size, and I like that you can place them on your desk without it looking like an actual game piece. I’ll definitely be looking forward to getting the Deluxe set with the nice board and extras, and hopefully the Onyxia Raid!

Customer Review: WoWo Minis - paint quality is not as high as advertised
After reading about the high quality paint jobs and seeing the incredibly detailed pictures on their website, I decided to purchase a few boxes just for the collectibility. I did not have any intention of playing the actual game.

Upon opening and seeing the figures for the first time, I can vouch for the quality of the models themselves, but the paint job is not up to the high quality advertised on their website. Unfortunately the paint job is fairly low quality, and greatly detracts from the presentation.

Mia Rose interview with Allakhazam

Allakhazam at the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Mia is known around the World of Warcraft community for her work in WoW related adult entertainment. However she also is a known Warlock with a penchant for raiding.

Mia talked about her opinions on Wrath and how excited she was to get it initially, but is now kind of so-so about it. In the interview Mia laments about how easy the current raiding content is, especially compared to how hard you had to work to get into the Black Temple back in Burning Crusade raiding.

Daedren (not his former WoW character’s name) ruffled more than a few feathers with an internet “confessional” (was it, really?) last week about his experiences botting in World of Warcraft. (To “bot,” a term that comes from the word “robot,” is to use a third-party program to play the game for you.) He initially declined an interview with 15 Minutes of Fame but was back in touch a few days later, after the comments and reaction began piling on.

With a measured, reasonable approach (somewhat at odds with the abrasive tone he takes with commenters on his blog), Daedren visits with us about botting.
