When I first started out several years ago, I never even thought about using a WoW leveling guide. My brother was actually the first person I knew who had one, and he was getting pretty good results so obviously I was a bit curious. This was back in the day however when World of Warcraft guides were just manuals.
Now they have add-on guides that can actually be incorporated into your game which adjust to work with you automatically as you play. Technically, I guess these are referred to as in-game leveling add-ons. The real value proposition here is that they help players from eventually getting confused, frustrated or even from quitting WoW altogether.
