Why am I writing this? Well, the main reason is just because there are so many other wow leveling guides out there like Zygor and Dugi, and I just wanted to give my take on which was the most effective. I’ll be doing reviews for each of these later on, but wanted to start with Booster because this is the one I recommend the most. The developers also claim it’s the #1 selling WoW leveling guide in history!
I don’t want to fill this review with hype or anything like that…but instead just tell you what I think are the best features of this guide. Really, when I started playing a few years ago and was thinking of buying a wow lvling guide, there weren’t many reviews online so I thought I’d write my own to help any of you who are in the same position I was. Unfortunately, it took me a while to actually write this….so, sorry about that guys….I admit I’ve been a bit lazy 
Be warned though, although this in my opinion is the best of the wow leveling guides I’ve reviewed, it’s not perfect. Thus, I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points. Just thought I’d mention that in case that’s not what you were looking for…
First and foremost, Booster is an in-game add-on for Alliance and Horde that helps you pinpoint hot quests and boost your leveling speed. Directions and waypoint arrows lead you from quest to quest, so really it’s like your hand is being held the entire way. This add-on can be installed very quickly. The developers claim it takes 60 seconds to install. I think it could take a few minutes more than this in reality….but all in all that’s pretty close. If you think this sounds easy, then you’d be right.
Before I really dive in, here’s a little proof that Booster can increase your leveling speed: The below picture shows going from 1 to 85 in 4 Days 9 Hours!
The in-game add-on is just the first feature. There are also 80 training videos and e-books (probably more that you will ever use). The videos are especially helpful, providing all sorts of insight on how to boost your leveling speed. I’ve included one of these videos on the video tab of my site here, wow lvl guide.
Also, you get a free lifetime membership to Hexigames, the creator of Booster guides, which gives you access to a forum, unique written content, and 24-7 assistance. All lifetime updates to the Booster guide are free as well, so you can be sure you always have the most up to date version. Below is a bullet point list of additional pros and cons for the Booster Speed Leveling Guide.
Pros:
• Extremely quick leveling – Quest path maker has arrow markers that point out the fastest route to reach the end of each quest.
• 130 class training videos – This gives you in-depth character training at every level (also includes a Gold Guide)
• Browse Advice – Ability to get advice from other questing players like yourself. Forum is filled with a community of like minded WoW players. Many other guides don’t have valuable forums like this.
• WoW Head Player Comments – A small popup window that can be opened which tells you what you need to do next, fighting techniques and where to find hidden objects etc.
• XP calculator – This will give you an update of your experience level and how quickly it’s changing so that you can see the result of this guide.
Cons:
• A bit Complicated – Some of the extra information may be complicated for beginner players to understand
• Limited Time Use – The extra training videos might have a limited time use, due to the Cataclysm upgrade
• Timing – Updates are sometimes late, but the guides are updated quickly
Again, as I’ve mentioned before – I think any wow lvling guide you look at should have the following: a free trial period, be an immediate digital download and come as an in-game add-on. Booster has all three of these. The reason I say this is because I personally wouldn’t buy any wow guide that didn’t have these features. The money back thing is huge because I mean, why would you want to be stuck with something if it wasn’t helping you?
To end here, although Booster isn’t perfect, it is the best guide I’ve come across….and again I’ve used Zygors and Dugi so I do have something to compare to.
